Issue popup

Key information at a glance

If you click on an issuepin, Mapit brings up a popup box containg key information for that issue - e.g. issue key, issue type, summary etc. Which fields are shown is set by your JIRA administrator. 

Click on the issue key to open the issue in a new browser tab. 
 

Icons

In the top right corner of the issue popup, some special icons might be displayed.

Alter issue position

If you are allowed to alter the issue's position, a move icon ( ) will show in the top right section of the issue popup. Please refer to Altering the position of an issue for more information about this feature.

Link to Google Maps route planner

In the popup there is also a link to the Google Maps route planner. To check suggested routes to the location of an issue, click on the Google Maps icon ( ). This will open Google Maps in a new browser tab, and the issue's position will be set as the destination. 

Add the desired starting point to plan how to get to the issue's location.

Image attachments

If the issue contains one or more image attachments, an image icon ( ) will show in the top right corner. Click on it to expand the popup with thumbnails of the attached image(s). Click on the icon again (now with a red close symbol on top), to close the image thumbnails. Click on the thumbnail image to open it in a new tab.
